Ending the HIV Epidemic Dashboards

This section provides links to other, external dashboards that support data-driven efforts to end the HIV epidemic in the US, including AHEAD, the HIV Implementation Science Coordination Initiative, the ETE Dashboard, and AIDSVu. These platforms provide interactive tools, visualizations, and resources to track progress, inform policy, and guide implementation strategies across jurisdictions.

Several EHE-related dashboards and online tools are currently available. We include links and descriptions of each below. These tools are critically important to understanding the scope and impact of EHE projects. The EHE Implementation Science Reporting builds on these resources, leveraging published results data from studies supported by EHE IS awards to build a ‘living review’ repository such that new IS studies are identified and screened semi-annually. This iterative process ensures meta-science reviews reflect the current evidence available.

Implementation Science

The scientific study of methods to facilitate the uptake of evidence-based practices and research into regular use by practitioners and policymakers to improve health service equity, quality, and outcomes.

Community Partners

Sub-set of EHE-funded community partners across priority jurisdictions

To provide opportunities for networking and collaboration, we highlight community partners engaged in implementation science projects supported by EHE awards. To protect the privacy and safety of all community partners, we highlight only those organizations that have provided consent.

Entre Hermanos

Entre Hermanos came into being by the initiative of a group of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Latinos/as that saw the need for social, educational, and health support services in their community in the spring of 1991. By December of 1992, the group was organized and carried out various activities to raise funds to cover its operating costs. These activities were done in cooperation with the Washington Latino AIDS Coalition, a group affiliated with People of Color against AIDS (POCAAN).

Arming Minorities Against Addiction and Disease (AMAAD)

AMAAD provides support services, community support and resources centered around specialized, strength-based management and services and leadership development with a focus among LGBTQ+ people of color.

LEAP for Ladies (LEAP)

LEAP empowers women who have experienced incarceration through transformational opportunities and advocacy.

ISCI: Ending the HIV Epidemic in the United States: A Snapshot of NIH-funded EHE Projects, 2019-2024

ISCI has collected information covering project activities, accomplishments, and more. More information will be published as it is made available.

AHEAD: America’s HIV Epidemic Analysis Dashboard:

AHEAD is a tool supporting implementation of the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) initiative, tracking progress toward its goals. The interactive dashboard tracks the six EHE indicators in the 57 prioritized jurisdictions as well as for all states and for the nation.

ETE: Ending the AIDS Epidemic Dashboard

The ETE Dashboard aims to measure, track and disseminate actionable information on progress towards achieving New York State’s ETE Initiative Goals

AIDSVu

AIDSVu is an interactive online mapping tool that visualizes the impact of the HIV epidemic on communities across the United States.

Welcome to the Dashboard

This dashboard provides an accessible way to explore national and jurisdictional findings from implementation science research supporting the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative. The homepage gives you quick access to major sections of the site and highlights key insights drawn from ongoing research and community partnerships.

Navigation Bar

At the top of the page, you’ll find four main sections that guide your experience:

  • About explains the purpose of the dashboard, the research framework guiding this project, and how to interpret the data and publications included here.
  • Results presents visual summaries, charts, and findings from implementation science activities conducted across EHE jurisdictions.
  • Publications provides access to peer-reviewed articles, research outputs, and additional documentation relevant to EHE implementation science.
  • Community highlights survey findings, community partnerships, and engagement activities that support and shape local EHE strategies.

Search Function

Use the search bar at the top of the page to look up specific topics, terms, research areas, or publications. This search function scans the entire dashboard, making it easier to find exactly what you need.

Featured Carousel

At the center of the homepage is a rotating feature carousel that highlights key insights and featured data stories. Each panel includes a brief summary of the topic and an Explore button. Selecting Explore takes you directly into the corresponding area of the site—such as community partnerships, implementation outcomes, or specific research summaries—so you can dive deeper into the data.
